Measures of Effectiveness
The Center of Excellence in Disaster Management & Humanitarian Assistance (COE), in conjunction with the U.S. Pacific Command and the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations (UNDPKO), will sponsor an international seminar entitled "Measure of Effectiveness". Invitees will be from military, government, civilian police, and non-governmental organizations from select nations in the Asia-Pacific region, including a component of military members based in Hawai'i.
This will be the first of its kind in Hawaii and will focus on methods of
integration of all aspects of peacekeeping training, including: training
methods, use of peacekeeping centers, distance learning, professional
development, and UN Standardized Training Modules. Participation is by
invitation, through participating governments and militaries. |
