Inter-Agency

World Vision Security Workshop
Duration: 1 week

COE liaises between MARFORPAC and World Vision International in putting on the 6-day security workshop. The audience is mostly WVI field directors and/or personnel who are hosted on Kaneohe Marine Corps Base and whose training includes classroom instruction and 'live' practical experience. The course has been running once a year and is an excellent example of cooperation between the NGO community and the military.

UH DMHA Certificate Program
Duration: 1 semester

COE cosponsors the University of Hawaii's Spark M. Matsunaga Institute for Peace certificate program in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance. The 15-credit certificate program is also available concurrently with a Masters program. For contact information or to learn more about the program visit the Peace Institute website.

InterAction Meeting

InterAction is the largest alliance of U.S.-based international development and humanitarian nongovernmental organizations. With more than 160 members operating in every developing country, we work to overcome poverty, exclusion and suffering by advancing social justice and basic dignity for all. COE will attend the annual meeting.
