Victoria Hart
Information Research Analyst
Victoria Hart received her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from
the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and received her Masters Degree in
Political Science on fellowship from the University of California,
Irvine in 2001. She lived in Taiwan for two years and is conversant in
Mandarin Chinese. After returning to Hawaii from Taiwan, she served as
the office manager of the Globalization Research Center at the
University of Hawaii for a couple years.
A graduate of COE's 2006
Health Emergencies in Large Populations (H.E.L.P.) course, she also
volunteers with the Hawaii Chapter of the American Red Cross, where she
has completed their series of Disaster Services courses. Victoria
joined COE's Information Unit in June 2007 and is primarily responsible
for the weekly Iraq Humanitarian Assistance Report and weekly Asia
Pacific Disease Outbreak Surveillance Report. She enjoys cycling and
occasionally filling in as a DJ at the college radio station KTUH doing
blues programming.
