The purpose of the seminar game was to develop multilateral, multifunctional, operational-level peace operations skills and to gain insight into capacity building and training requirements throughout the Asia-Pacific Region.

Integration and interoperability were the foci of this game. Participants were challenged to develop a broad concept of operations that integrated military, civilian police and humanitarian sectors while still distinctly categorizing the roles, responsibilities, tasks and training requirements and recommendations unique to each sector. They took this challenge a further step by making suggestions for improving interoperability throughout the life of the mission.
