Background
This seminar represents the 12th in a series
of related conferences, seminars, tabletop games and workshops
begun in 2000 and known collectively as the Asia Pacific Peace
Operations Capacity Building Program. The intent of the program
is to encourage dialogue on issues in modern peace support operations.
The program also promotes multinational engagement among countries
in the Asia Pacific Region by facilitating dialogue on the nature
of peace operations and by building peace operations capacities,
primarily through information exchange.
